TechWare Warranty & Return Policy

Warranty

Warranty is only valid if the goods no longer functioning or malfunction and have been used according to the supplier’s conditions (manufacturers terms and conditions). The purchase date must be within the warranty time frame. Goods will be repaired, replaced or credited according manufacturers policy.

DOA (Dead on Arrival)

DOA are those goods found malfunctioning an reported to UC Experts within 8 days after the shipping date. In case of a DOA, the faulty product will always be replaced with a new one. Products received outside this time frame will always be repaired under warranty. DOAs will only be accepted if the goods are returned complete, including all accessories and in their original packaging.

Pré-Exchange

UC Experts makes it possible to receive a new unit upfront.  This new product will be invoiced. A credit note is made after the faulty product is returned to UC Experts within 5 working days after DOA-approval by UC Experts and after the unit is subjected to visual inspection by UC Experts support staff.  Only a technical malfunction will result in accepting DOA.

Products received outside this time frame will always be repaired under warranty. DOAs will only be accepted if the goods are returned complete, including all accessories and in their original packaging.

Restocking (does not apply on back-2-back and special orders)

A 10% restocking fee applies on factory sealed goods. The RESTOCKING request must be applied within 8 days after the goods are received. The units will be esthetically inspected and approved by Techware. If the goods are not in resalable condition, they will be returned at your expense. At that point a credit will be issued at the current pricing, including the 10% restocking charge. Regular RMA procedure applies.

A 20% buy-back fee applies on goods in used condition. The RESTOCKING request must be applied within 8 days after the goods are received. The units will be esthetically inspected and approved by Techware. If the goods are not in resalable condition, they will be returned at your expense. At that point Techware will issue a consignment document. Once the goods are re-sold within the Techware partner channel, a credit will be applied including the 20% buy-back charge.  A partner can ask for a return of his consignment stock at any point in time.  The goods will be returned along with the next order OR can be shipped at our default transport -and handling fee.  Regular RMA procedure applies.

A 30% restocking fee applies on non-compliant factory sealed goods. The RESTOCKING request must be applied within 8 days after the goods are received. The units will be esthetically inspected and approved by Techware.  At that point a credit will be issued at the current pricing, including the 30% restocking charge.  If the goods are not in resalable condition, they will be returned at your expense. Regular RMA procedure applies.

Handling of DOA, defects and Restocking
For all goods purchased through ucexperts.eu, AFTER October 1st 2020

You can ask for a return material authorisation (RMA) trough your "my account".  In the menu on the left side, click on "My Returns".  To apply for RMA, please choose the order in which you purchased the malfunctioning unit and fill in all required fields.  UC Experts will reach out shortly after you filed for RMA with further instructions.  You can follow the status of your RMA online.

For all goods purchased BEFORE October 1st 2020, or for all goods that are not purchased through ucexperts.eu

Partners can apply for RMA by sending a request to RMA@ucexperts.eu.
The request must contain the following information:

  • Brand, type and MAC address of the products
  • If a units is not equipped with a MAC address, please use the serial number
  • A statement that this is a case of a faulty product
  • A description of the defect

After approval by UC Experts, the reseller receives the RMA/DOA/ RESTOCKING approval by e-mail.

Please use a second box to put the original package in or use other additional packaging. Do not apply shipping labels on the original packaging.

The received RMA forms need to be signed and sent together with the goods.  Goods received by UC Experts without RMA/DOA/ RESTOCKING approval will be returned to the sender without prior notice.

After receiving an RMA/DOA/RESTOCKING approval e-mail, the products must be returned to UC Experts within 5 working days. After that period, the return approval will expire and the goods will be returned to the sender.

Keep in mind

  • If the problem cannot be reproduced by our technical staff, an inspection and dispatch charge of € 45 (VAT excl.) applies.
  • If the problem can be resolved by replacing the firmware (software) in the device, an inspection and dispatch charge of € 45 (VAT excl.) applies
  • Faults caused by lightning, flooding, dropping, etc. fall outside the scope of the warranty. Any costs incurred as a result thereof must be recovered by the customer from his or her insurance company.
