The instance Manager did monitoring, but there are many monitoring solutions that can do the job better.
One of them is Prometheus and you can set it up for free.
One thing the Instance Manager did well was allow for mass "manual" updating but since V18.4 a new fuction is available to automatically update instances one month after the release of an update.
