It works, but how reliable is it?
Wifi is built for data, Dect is built for voice.
Wich means that package loss is not a big deal for wifi, but it is a big deal for voice. It can lead to audio gaps or even dropped calls.
Handover is another thing, Dect will always search for the best connection while Wifi tries to hold on to the current antenna for as long as possible.
Don't be fooled by marketing tricks.
Voice over wifi should only be used when no other options are available.
